Kaupapa Māori

At Lincoln High School, we are committed to honouring the partnership of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and to embedding kaupapa Māori within the life of our kura. We value te reo Māori, tikanga Māori, and mātauranga Māori as important parts of our school culture and learning programmes. Through culturally responsive teaching, opportunities for ākonga to engage with te ao Māori, and strong relationships with whānau and our wider community, we work to create a learning environment where Māori students can thrive as Māori. Our commitment reflects the principles of partnership, participation, and protection, helping us build a kura grounded in manaakitanga, respect, and belonging for all.
