Become a Sports Volunteer

Getting involved as a sports volunteer at Lincoln High School is a great way to contribute to school life while building valuable skills. Whether you’re helping coach a team, assisting with events, managing equipment or supporting younger students, volunteering gives you the chance to develop leadership, communication, and teamwork in a real-world setting. It’s also a way to stay connected to sport without needing to be on the field every time.

Sports volunteering helps build confidence, responsibility, and organisation — all qualities that are highly valued in further study, employment, and community roles. It can also contribute to service recognition within the school. Most importantly, it’s a chance to give back, support others, and be part of something bigger than yourself. We consider volunteers from a variety or backgrounds; current and former students, to those interested in developing their coaching skills, to whānau looking to lend a hand.
