Senior Health Education

Year 11 Semester Courses:

• In Year 11 HPE is not a compulsory subject.  Students can opt into HPE. 
• Year 11 courses are semester courses and can take place in either semester A or B
• These are assessed at Level 6 of the curriculum

Year 12 & 13 HPE courses:

• Year 12 & 13 HPE courses are based around learning from NZQA achievement standards and/or unit standards
• These courses are assessed at level 7 & 8 of the New Zealand curriculum
