At least 10 credits from Level 2 English Achievement Standards.

Course Outline:

Explore literature, hone written and oral communication, and develop critical thinking in our academic Year 13 General English course. Through diving deep into written and visual texts, students will develop their writing and speaking skills, and uncover deeper meanings through the close reading and analysis of a wide variety of literature and film.


ENG301 gives students the opportunity to refine analytical and communication skills for success in future employment or tertiary education.

Assessment:

There are two internal and two external assessments in this course. Students are expected to sit both external (examination) Achievement Standards.
