The following information may be helpful in preparing your student for Term 1 2017:
An Orientation Programme for all new Year 10-13 students will be held at school on Wednesday 1 February, commencing at 8.45am.
Please meet at the front of the administration building, Boundary Road entrance, between 8.30am and 8.45am.
Years 10-12 students are required to wear school uniform.
Students will be formally welcomed as part of the mihi whakatau for all new students at 9.00am.
The Orientation Programme will commence immediately after the welcome and will conclude at around 11.00am.
School buses will be providing transport to school on this day, but do not return from school until the end of the school day, therefore students will need to arrange transport home at the conclusion of the orientation.
All Year 9 and new Year 10 students are required to do an entrance test prior to starting school as this, along with information from the students' current school, help to determine class placement.
If your student has not yet sat their test (ie; due to enrolling recently, or missing a previous testing date), you will be contacted and advised when your student is required to do this test.

NOTE: Confirmation of student's optional subjects will be when they receive their timetable on the first day of Term. It is recommended that parents/caregivers wait until this time before purchasing stationery. There is no expectation for students to have all of their stationery on their first day - a lined refill pad and pen will be fine.
