International Students - Refund Policy
All tuition fees paid by Overseas Students are non-refundable. However, if a
student decides to leave Lincoln High School because the course asked for by
the student in the Application form and agreed to in the School's Offer of
Place is not available, a full refund will be given.
If students are required to return home because of circumstances beyond their
control (e.g. death in the family) a partial or full refund may be given.
This is at the discretion of the Board of Trustees.
Students wishing to apply for a refund must make an application in writing to the
Board of Trustees of the School explaining why they are leaving Lincoln High
School. In making their decision the Board of Trustees will judge each case
on its merits, taking into account:
The cost to the School of providing tuition to the Student up to the
time of the Student's withdrawal from the School;
Any refund received by the School of any fees payable by the School
to the New Zealand Government for the Student;
The amount that is in the Board of Trustee's opinion an appropriate
reflection of the use made by the student of the School's facilities; and
Any other matters which the Board of Trustees considers relevant
Students who gain Permanent Residence status after the School year has commenced
will not be eligible for a refund.
