International Students - Applications

The following information must be supplied when returning the form to Lincoln High School:

• a recent school report
• any other relevant certificates, exam results in support of your application
• two recent photographs - one attached to the enrolment form and one to the homestay application form.
• a letter in English introducing yourself and stating why you would like to study at Lincoln High School. The must be written by the student without assistance. Include details of your interests, music and sporting abilities.
• a letter of reference in English from the Principal or a teacher at your present school commenting on your:
  - general academic ability,
  - your competence in English,
  - your personality and character and
  - your ability to interact with peers and adults.

If your application is successful you will receive an Offer of Place and an invoice for the fees payable. The Offer of Place will remain valid for one month. Acceptance by the applicant of the Offer of Place is confirmed with the payment of the invoiced tuition fees.

• Payment can be made by cash, cheque or by direct transfer into the school’s bank account. Account details will be stated on the invoice.
• Upon receipt of the tuition fees a receipt will be forwarded to you and you will be sent a letter of acceptance and a guarantee of accommodation.
• In order to study in New Zealand as an international student, you are required to have a student visa.
