- Course Outline:
The Pacific Ocean is the largest ocean on Earth. For centuries it was a highway, which connected peoples from different continents and vastly different cultures. This multi-level Level 2 and 3 course will be based on those differing and divergent cultures and the literature that they have created. In this course we will celebrate our differences, but also come to examine how our ‘sames’ connect us, in much the same way as the Pacific connected our ancestors.
This course includes 3 internal and 2 external Achievement Standards. Students can achieve these Achievement Standards at Level 2 or Level 3.
