- Course Outline:
Did you miss the opportunity to take Wearable Arts in Year 10, well here’s your chance in Year 11. Join this Wearable Arts course where you will get the opportunity to make an outfit to show off at a Wearable Arts Show. Be inspired to design and test new materials to make a garment and have the potential to gain L2 credits. You will be able to project manage your own outcomes with research, design and construction skills, so come along and give it a go.
There is one optional, 6 credit internal NCEA assessment in this course.
- Where Does It Lead:
Technology 201 and 301 (University Entrance) courses.
This course may also lead to fashion/textiles and design courses at polytechnics and universities. Including Dental Technology and Costume Design if continue through 201 and 301 courses.
