Open Entry.  Students who also select PED201 or PER201 need to understand that some credits will overlap. 

Course Outline:

This course is designed for students who have a passion for sport.  Students choosing this course should be active participants in sport, and be up for the challenge of developing their leadership skills in sporting contexts. Themes covered include leadership of peers, group processes, practical performance, and exploration of the significance of sport for self, others and society.

Up to 19 internally assessed credits are offered.

Where Does It Lead:

Level 3 Sports Performance, Physical Education, Outdoor Education (SPC303, PED301, PER301, OED303) or Health Education (HED301) by HOLA approval. The course provides valuable skills that are complimentary to a variety of training and career pathways in the sport, leisure, fitness and health industry.
