- Entry Recommendations:
Students are expected to have at least completed one semester course of Physical Education or they can discuss their suitability with the HOLA. Students taking this course are not able to enter into PED201.
- Course Outline:
This course explores physical activity and recreation from a range of perspectives including personal experiences, assisting others, working together as a team and risk management. Students choosing this course should be motivated both to participate in physical activity, and explore concepts further in the classroom.
Please note, students wishing to pursue a University Entrance pathway in Physical Education are advised to choose PED201 instead.
Level 2 unit standards and achievement standards. Up to 17 credits.

Level 3 Sports Coaching, Fit for Life, Physical Education and Recreation, Outdoor Education (SPC303, FIT301, PER302, OED303) with HOLA approval.
