Entry Recommendations:

Successful completion of Year 10 Physical Education or Physical Exercise Science including full involvement and participation. It is expected that students in PED101 are focused on the theoretical elements of Physical Education, as well as the practical elements.

Course Outline:

This course has an academic focus using physical activity as the main context. It is designed to encourage students to think critically about different physical activity experiences and explore movement through a wide variety of contexts. The course features a mix of theory and practical lessons designed to prepare students to develop key skills leading into senior Physical Education and Tertiary study.

Includes 21 internal credits.

Please note, this course covers academic Exercise Science and socio-critical concepts.  Students who are not interested in exploring these should consider PEM101.


Where Does It Lead:
