Completion of Year 11 Food and Nutrition Technology is highly recommended due to the academic nature of this course. 

Course Outline:

This course includes internal and external Achievement Standards. Practical work is an integral part of this course. Topics covered include:

  • Sports nutrition
  • A nutritional issue for families in New Zealand.
  • Sustainable food related practices.
  • Food choices, well-being and determinants of health.

All students must follow Health and Safety regulations as required.
