CareerQuest

CareerQuest is a very useful government online questionnaire which analyses peoples interests in different types of work and matches these to possible career options.  Students are able to find out what they need to do to qualify for a chosen career.

1. Go to www.careers.govt.nz
2. Scroll down and under Plan your Career click on Career Quest.
3. Click on Register
4. Click on Start.
5. Continue until you have answered all 78 questions. If you need to exit at any stage click on the Save button.
6. If you need more information about any question click on the Tell me More button
7. Once you have answered all questions you will have a list of jobs which will suit you. Click on them to find out more.
8. Once you have finished, before you click on Sign Out , Click on the Save with the downward arrow (Save to my Career) so your quest will be available next time you log in.
